Purchase & Sales Information

Bullion purchases are available in the following weights:

Gold           1 kilogram, 100 ounces, 400 ounces
Silver          1,000 ounces
Platinum      50 ounces

Most investment grade bullion bars vary from the above weights. The 100-ounce and 400-ounce gold bars can vary up to +/- 5%, the silver and platinum bars vary by +/-10%, while the gold kilogram bar does not vary in size.

BMG BullionBars can only be purchased through authorized dealers like bullionhold. International investors are welcomed. Talk to me about volume discounts.

Costs
Prices may vary with the amount purchased, but are generally based on a 2% premium above prevailing market prices plus dealer sale charge.

BMG BullionBars Charges:

  • Purchase Charge: 2% 
  • Annual Custodial Fee: 1% (billed monthly in arrears) 
  • Sales Charge: 0.5% 

bullionhold Dealer Charges:

  • Purchase Charge: 2% 
  • Custodial Fee: 0.5% (billed monthly in arrears) 

-  Prices include bar charges and insured delivery to vault.
-  No Canadian Sales Tax (GST or PST) is applicable on purchases. There is GST
   on storage (currently 5%)
-  Minimum purchase amount is $25,000

Selling Bullion

  • Sales charge of 1% to sell plus a handling fee of $250 per transaction 
  • You are responsible for all shipping costs including insurance 

-  No Canadian Withholding Tax is applicable on sales.
